yesterday we were n the north. we went to a little village thats surounded by the wall, and now 75% of the population is unimploied beause they cant get to their olivefields. we also tried to ros the checkpoint the farmers have to cross, but that was a lot of fuzz, most likely becaue they didnt want us on the other side.
later we went to Qalqylia, the city is also suronded, and they can only get in by one checkpoint. but the place that made the most impresion was nablus, there it is one big checkpoint and the cars cant cross. inside we saw a lot of posters for the freedomfighters, thats youth that fights with the weapons they have for their homes many has been killed. we also saw a lot of bombed buildings. on the way back we went straight tharough the line at the checkpoint because of our international passports, it felt realy bad, but the ral life came when we were passing the last checkpoint on the way back to betlehem. there one of the palestinian boys who had been with us all day was taken out of the bus away because he had a jerusalem id. that means that he is alowed to get in to the west bank, but not to be there. in the end the military men was nice, and he was alowed to cross if he came in a taxi...
today we went trough another checkpoint and in to jerusalem. there we visited the al aqsa moske and the doom of the rock, they were amasing, after that we had a tour in the old town before we had a tour with a house demolition activist groop. they took us around east jerusalem and shoved us how the wall is making the life harder to live and the houses that has been teard down. it was strange to stad on the same lookout point as just a few weeks ago and now seeing ewerything so diffrently. before it was all about the old town, and now about the wall and the settelments. it is amasing how the people here manage their daily life with all this going on around them and the israeli making their life so hard to live. but now its time for bed.
